History
For over a decade, Pan-American School has hosted a yearly held conference. The aim for individuals to aspire to become global citizens and leaders within their communities and countries, has always led us forward.
Our founders, Professor Glenn Courtland and Professor Ed Welsh, had a vision for students to have a perspective that goes beyond their national identity to understand global issues that encompass values, principles, morals, and how these are applied to international relations, politics, and progress. Inspired students, who believed it was possible, have built, an event that not only encloses itself to a conference, but a network of leaders who can pursue change through freedom of speech, friendships, and the common objective of reaching a peaceful negotiation.
Although it all began with a small group of students whose mission was to bring the program to our school, our event has grown to become one of the first international summits in Costa Rica.
